Texas Certified Online LTC Handgun License Class
Step 1: Complete the Online Classroom Portion
Complete the Texas Online License To Carry Course at your convenience. Once you finish the course, you will take a 25 question written examination that you must score a 70% or better to pass. Then you will be issued a Texas Online Certificate of Completion form (LTC 104).
Step 2: Complete the live fire qualification
Once you have completed the online course and have your Certificate of Completion (LTC 104) you are more than welcome to contact us and we can get your qualifying taken care of for free. Keep in mind, you can perform the live fire qualification with any certified Texas License to Carry Instructor but if you choose to qualify through another instructor, you will have to pay their qualifying and range fees. If you didn't take our online class through US Law Shield, we can get you qualified but you will have to pay an additional qualification fee of $40.
Active Duty Military Member, National Guard Member, Reservist, Uniformed Correctional Officer or Jailer refund offer!
If you are an Active Duty Military Member, National Guard Member, Reservist, Uniformed Correctional Officer or Jailer, you are not required to perform a live fire qualification but you are still required to take the classroom portion to get your handgun license. If you choose not to qualify, with will issue you a $10 refund through a cash exchange, Venmo or Cash App upon verification that you took our online course through US Law Shield. If you choose to qualify, you will not get the $10 refund.
