If you “use” a firearm or any legal weapon in Texas under the Texas Law Shield Firearms Legal Defense Program, our program attorneys will represent you in any legal proceeding (criminal

or civil), for zero additional attorneys’ fees. This includes all criminal charges arising from a “use” of a gun or any legal weapon and will include help with police investigations and grand jury proceedings. 

The 24/7/365 firearms emergency hotline is always answered by an attorney who is a member of the Texas Law Shield Firearms Program. It is available exclusively to our Members – when you call, you are talking to your firearms program attorneys.  What you tell your firearms program attorney is fully confidential.

Coverage that protects you in the event you’re served with a red flag order, including an extreme risk protection order, risk warrant, or gun violence restraining order.

Coverage when you’re not criminally charged but are brought into the legal system through no fault of your own as a result of having been witness to, or possessing evidence regarding, another’s threat of force or use of force or deadly force.

Criminal and civil defense coverage after an unintentional and involuntary discharge of a firearm or other lawful weapon.

Extends coverage to all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

Bond fee protection for bail up to $100,000 (not to exceed $10,000 bail bond fee).

If necessary, a private investigator and/or expert witness will be provided for no additional fee.

Protect your name and right to carry in case of a stolen firearm and/or compromised ID. Additionally, receive coverage in the event that your firearm is wrongfully confiscated, or you’re wrongfully denied the right to purchase a firearm or obtain/renew a carry license or permit.

Extends your coverage and protection to your minor children, aged 17 and under.

Protect your assets with up to $1,000,000 of coverage for damages in the event that a civil judgment is rendered against you.

While our services are quite comprehensive, the following are not covered: expert witness fees, governmental fees of any type, investigator fees, or bail bonds. However, members have the option to enroll in the Bail Bond/Expert Witness program.
